The machine consists of a number of cups, set of 3 cups, each with a specific set volume, that move in a continuous rotary motion. As the cups move along the filling line, they are filled with the product from a hopper or supply system. The cups are then emptied into the containers passing underneath them, ensuring that each container is filled with the same volume of product.
The volume of each telescopic cup can be adjusted online during operation to achieve the desired volume, and the machine can be set to run at different speeds depending on the production requirements. Volumetric cup fillers are popular in industries such as snack foods, coffee beans, salt, sugar, grains, pulses, pesticides, dry granular pet food, detergent powder, where accurate and consistent weigh volume is required.
